Kim Furlong holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas at
Austin and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Her
experience encompasses private residences, museums, national parks and
healthcare facilities. She has worked with Samuel Anderson Architects, the
Office of Thierry Despont in New York City, and Overland Partners Architects in
San Antonio. Before attending architecture school she was a Senior Interior
Designer with Taylor Clark Architects in New York City. Currently Kim teaches
architecture and interior design studios at the University of Texas. She is a
Registered Interior Designer and LEED accredited professional with the United
States Green Building Council. Austin became her home after growing up on Long
Island and many years pounding the pavement in the Big Apple.
